Samsung Galaxy Tab
Price: TBA (Rumoured to be between US$200 to US$400)
Release: Q4, 2010
While it has yet to set a release date and a price point, early specs released by Samsung of its upcoming new tablet device have wowed many tech writers.
The Android-powered machine will run on the latest stable version of the operating system, version 2.2 or better known as Froyo.
The Galaxy Tab packs an impressive 1GHz processor, a 3-megapixel back-facing camera with flash for snapshots, and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing one for video calls.
While it's 7-inch screen size is smaller compared to the iPad's 9.7-inch display, the Galaxy Tab makes up for it by being compact and is only half as heavy.
3G, Wifi and a Micro SD card slot complete the package. Oh and did we mention that it supports Flash?
