Okay, admit it. All those recent reports about the former chiefs of CNB and SCDF are getting to you.
You’re suspicious of all those sudden diversions and unexplained detours your spouse or kids are making.
MAY CHUA shows you apps that can keep track of your significant other or disappearing brood.
Free; for Android, BlackBerry, iOS and Windows Phone 7
This impressive app is full of features and works on almost every operating system. Best of all, it’s free. But it does rely on the one being tracked to send out his location, so the onus is on your beloved to report his whereabouts.
Top tip: Tell him that it is easier on both of you than having you call to check up on him.
Sharing your location with Glympse is a breeze. Unlike most of the other apps featured here, it does not require you to set up an account.
Just enter the recipients' mobile numbers and e-mail addresses, set the time frame when you want them to know where you are and hit Send.
Glympse then sends an e-mail or text message to them. They can view your movements on any Web browser. That is, your friends or family members do not even need to download this app or own a smartphone.
After the stipulated time frame, the link expires and the map will no longer deliver updates on your whereabouts.
