#6. New smartphone? Let's see how long that enthusiasm lasts

Sure, you might spend the first few weeks playing with those nifty connectivity features on your smartphone the first few weeks you got one.

However, that enthusiasm of updating your Facebook status every five minutes might not last.

But for a number of users, the novelty only lasts so long and they end up not utilizing their devices as much as they would expect.

Said Thomas Neo, Director of Consumer Sales at SingTel, "Customers who purchase a smartphone will definitely use their device's connectivity features for an initial first two months or so.

"From there onwards, it really depends on how much they like the features or if the novelty wears off after a while."
