Basically, it hit 100 million views in the fastest time ever - a mere six days.

For those who are unaware, KONY 2012 is a film and campaign by Invisible Children to raise support for warlord Joseph Kony's arrest.

However, it has become mired in controversy, with alleged news reports of the mental breakdown of film director Jason Russell.
