Rumour says Apple planning mini iPad
If the rumours are to be believed, the tablet is rumored to be launching during the third quarter of 2012.

Yet another wave of Apple iPad rumors have hit the web. This time they claim that Apple will release a smaller iPad called the iPad Mini.

If the rumours are to be believed, the tablet will be launching during the third quarter of 2012 to counter the onslaught of Windows 8 tablets due to arrive on the market around the same time.

The device is said to be priced from between US$249 to US$299.

Tech news website CNet repoted that the device will have 8GB of memory - half the memory of an entry-level iPad.

Its screen however, will have the sme resolution as the latest iPad, which is 2,048 x 1,536.
