IT HAS been six months since I made the cross over from using a phone with a Qwerty keypad to one with a touchscreen.
Every now and then, I miss pushing buttons.
So when I was asked to try out the Samsung Galaxy 551, I got excited because the phone with a touch display has a Qwerty keypad that slides out smoothly, automatically switching the display screen to landscpe mode. This gives the user the best of both worlds.
But the buttons on the Qwerty keypad were a little too stiff and flat for my delicate fingers. It was rather taxing to type and my thumbs got tired after a while.
Although the phone weighs only 156g, the additional keypad adds bulk to the gadget's look.
