The Panasonic Lumix GF5 (www.panasonic.com) interchangeable lens system camera is the latest model in the company's Micro Four Thirds category, sporting a newly developed 12.1-megapixel Live MOS sensor as well as a redesigned Venus Engine which allows users to capture true-to-life images via exceptional resolution, image rendering and colour reproduction.
Even in low-light situations, with a maximum 12,800 high ISO sensitivity, the Lumix GF5 is more than capable of shooting stunning photos and capturing videos.
There is also a noise reduction system that include a combination 3DNR (3D Noise Reduction) and MNR (Multi-process Noise Reduction) so that both bright and dark areas will be faithfully reproduced with minimal noise in high sensitivity image recording.
Expect the Panasonic Luix DMC-GF5 to arrive in black, white and red colours later this year, where the body with 14-42mm standard zoom lens will retail for US$599 (S$752), while that with 14-42mm power zoom lens is US$749 (RM2,294) apiece.
